The entry-level occupational therapy doctoral degree program is accredited by the 认证 Council for 职业治疗 Education (ACOTE) of the American 职业治疗 Association (AOTA), 位于行政大道6116号, 200套房, 北贝塞斯达, MD 20852-4929. Graduates of the program will be eligible to sit for the national certification examination for the occupational therapist administered by the National Board for Certification in 职业治疗 (NBCOT). 顺利完成本次考试后, 这个人将是职业治疗师, 注册(OTR). 除了, all states require licensure in order to practice; however, state licenses are usually based on the results of the NBCOT Certification Examination. 学生 must complete 24 weeks of Level II fieldwork as well as an individual 14-week capstone experience following the completion of the didactic portion of the program. The doctoral capstone experience must be started after completion of all coursework and Level II fieldwork as well as completion of preparatory activities defined in 2018 ACOTE OTD Standard D.1.3. The entire OTD program must be completed within a contiguous span of no more than 60 months (5 years).
